I serve as the Vice President, Research of the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) and as a Senior Scientific Director in the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplantation Research (CIBMTR) with oversight for the Immunobiology Research Program. The CIBMTR is a research collaboration between the NMDP/Be The Match and the Medical College of Wisconsin. I also serve as the co-Scientific Director for the CIBMTR Graft versus Host Disease and Graft Sources Working Committees and am the Principal Investigator for the CIBMTR Research Sample Repository. My current research focuses on discerning the immunogenetic and immunobiological factors that influence the outcome of allogeneic adult donor and cord blood hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and cellular therapies (HCT/CT).
