Dr. Wang is an Associate Professor in Division of Biostatistics at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). He has a broad background and experience in biostatistics with specific methodological research focusing on statistical genetics including statistical modeling of quantitative trait loci (QTL), partition of genetic variance components for quantitative traits, and mixed models for adjustment of population structure and familial relatedness. His collaborative research mainly include: 1) the analysis of medical, physiological and genomic data related to diabetes, hypertension, etc.; 2) survival analysis for Bone Marrow Transplantation outcomes. Since 2005, he has been serving as statistical director in Immunobiology working committee (IBWC) and Graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) working committee for the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research (CIBMTR).
