Bonnie Leung is a nurse practitioner oncologist at BC Cancer – Vancouver, Canada, where she supports patients and families affected by lung cancer and head and neck cancers. She is also a PhD student at the University of British Columbia School of Nursing, preparing her thesis work on cancer care experiences of racialized older adults with cancer. Currently, she is a Canadian Institutes of Health Research Health Systems Impact Fellow, conducting a project on examining disparate outcomes of immigrants with cancer-related spinal cord injuries. Her research interests include psycho-oncology, palliative and end-of-life care, health disparities of immigrants, and geriatric oncology.
