Dr. Hatch is an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. Originally from Delaware, she attended medical school at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University then went south for Psychiatry residency at UNC. She continued at UNC for fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry and has been privileged to remain there as an attending. She primarily spends her time on inpatient CL services as well as the Acute Telepsychiatry Service providing virtual consults to smaller UNC affiliate hospitals. She has particular interests in burn psychiatry, psychotic disorders and interventional psychiatry.
