Biosketch
Josephine Mokonogho, MD, FACLP is a Psychiatrist who is Board Certified in General Psychiatry as well as Consultation- Liaison Psychiatry.
She completed her residency at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, and fellowship in Psychosomatic Medicine/ Psycho Oncology at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.
She is an active member of the Academy of Consultation- Liaison Psychiatry.
Clinical interests include Women’s Mental health, Psycho Oncology, Infertility and Transplant Psychiatry.
She is very passionate about the education of trainees and peers, and has developed a course series for non-psychiatric clinicians called “The Psychiatry Toolbox” to teach basic psychiatric diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for patients in the community.
