Stephen V. Marcoux is originally from Phoenix, AZ, completing his undergraduate degrees at the University of Arizona. He earned his medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, NE, and completed general psychiatry residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, TX, a joint military/civilian program, where he served as the military chief resident. Stephen then continued his active duty service in the United States Air Force as a medical officer and general psychiatrist at Tyndall AFB, Florida, where he held several positions in addition to clinical duties to include the Director of Psychological Health, Flight Commander, and Medical Director. Stephen currently is the Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry Fellow at the University of Chicago Medical Center in Chicago, IL, and is concurrently completing a Medical Education, Research, Innovation, Teaching, and Scholarship (MERITS) Fellowship.
