Dr. Yelizaveta Sher is a Clinical Professor in the Division of Medical Psychiatry at Stanford University School of Medicine. She specializes in treatment of mental health challenges faced by people with cystic fibrosis (CF) and those underlying lung transplantation. She sees patients both in inpatient (particular, intensive care unit) and outpatient settings. She is embedded into Stanford CF Adult program where she serves as Director of Psychiatric and Psychological Services. Her clinical research and publications also focus on these topics. She is a co-editor of 5 books (Transplant Psychiatry; Facing Cystic Fibrosis; Facing Transplantation; Facing COVID-19; Psychosocial Care of End-Stage Disease and Transplant Patients).
