I am Dr Komal preet kaur, an ECFMG certified medical graduate from India with a keen interest in Psychiatry. My fascination with human mind and behaviour began aa a teenager when i was drawn to human behaviour and body language and it further grew into learning about complex and nuanced nature of mental conditions, during my medical school.
I have experience in working in a variety of healthcare settings with a particular interest in intersection of mental and physical health and value based care in Psychiatry.During my clinical rotations, I witnessed firsthand the devastating impact of mental health disorders on individuals and communities, and driven by passion for improving mental health outcomes, I decided to pursue additional training in United states.
My particular interest in public health has led me to contribute to several research programs and my work has been published in several peer reviewed journals.
At the core of my practice is a deep empathy for my patients. I believe that every individual’s experience with mental health is unique and deserving of personalised compassionate care. My exceptional communication and collaboration skills make me a trusted partner to my patients, working alongside them to achieve their goals and improve their mental and physical wellbeing.
