Ashley is a fourth-year medical student at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Religious Studies in 2019. She spent five years as a clinical research assistant for UNC's Department of Psychiatry, where she supported several projects studying maternal-infant bonding and infant brain development following prenatal substance exposure. In medical school, she has led and supported research projects exploring substance use and women's mental health. Ashley's passion for research and writing has inspired her to pursue a career as a medical writer.
