Jacob Cohen received his BA in Neuroscience from Claremont McKenna College. As an undergraduate, Jacob worked in Dr. Alison Harris' Decision Neuroscience Lab where he managed EEG data collection for a study investigating links between emotional processing and the activity of sensorimotor systems. In 2019, he interned at Cognitive Leap, where he established recruitment and testing protocols, and managed data collection for a pilot study assessing the efficacy of a novel, virtual reality based, ADHD assessment tool. In 2020, Jacob worked on IRB protocols for the Thompson Autism Center and audited actigraphy data for Cognito Therapeutics, a startup applying neuromodulation technologies to the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. In June of 2021, Jacob joined the Environment, Brain and Behavior lab, where he now leads data management and quality control for several NIH funded projects. He also has experience with behavioral and neuroimaging analyses, and currently works on the development of novel fMRI tasks.
