Emilie Sohl is currently a second year psychiatry resident at University of Chicago. She completed medical school and received her MD from Loyola University, after finishing her BA in psychology at Duke University. She has written a review article on treatment-resistant depression and participated in the clinical aspects of a phase IV trial to determine the efficacy of esketamine in treatment-resistant depression. She has a specific interest in eating disorders and has helped publish a book chapter on ARFID. She worked extensively with the homeless veterans clinic in Los Angeles and developed a toolkit for physicians to support humanistic engagement with this difficult population.
