Dustin R. Todaro is a psychiatry resident at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He completed his MD and PhD in biochemistry and molecular biology at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. He has a research background in kinetic enzymology and previously investigated the mechanism(s) of Nedd4 (neural precursor cell expressed developmentally down-regulated 4) family ubiquitin ligases, which are implicated in a range of neuropsychiatric disorders. His current clinical and research interests are in addiction psychiatry, including the use of neuroimaging methodologies to study opioid use disorder (OUD).
