I graduated from residency in psychiatry from Texas A&M in June of 2020 and completed a fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. I then joined the University of Virginia (UVA) faculty as an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Neurobehavioral Sciences in August of 2021 and work on the Consultation-Liaison service, which is a large teaching service at UVA. I have joined the Reproductive Psychiatry Research Program at UVA with Dr. Jennifer Payne, developing my research skills and getting experience for investigator initiated studies. I was asked to become an associate program director to be more involved in the psychiatry residency education and curriculum development.
