Nicole Hopper received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Connecticut in 2015 and her Masters of Science in Nursing with a focus in Clinical Nurse Leadership from Southern New Hampshire State University in 2020. She has worked as a bedside nurse in the acute care Medical/Surgical setting for six years and has worked with many patient populations including neurology, neurosurgery and trauma, among others. She has always been passionate about mentoring and growing new nurses in the profession and advancing quality nursing practice through work on unit-based councils and professional governance. In the role of a Clinical Nurse Educator, Nicole has been able to mentor, educate, and support her facility's newly licensed nurses during their transition into acute care through the Nurse Residency Program she leads. She is an active member of the Nursing Quality and Safety Committee and has a passion for advocacy for the nursing profession.
