Ms. Cicic is a rising 4th year medical student interested in a career in Psychiatry that also involves clinical research. She had an early interest in literature and philosophy, earning her Bachelors of Arts degree from Hamilton College. Her early interests lead her into a fascination with the complex bioethical issues in Medicine. Her curiosity has bolstered her interest in doing research. She has a range of research experiences involving cancer therapeutics including at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, and has taken a gap year to work specifically on research projects connected with The Liver Transplant Program at the University of Rochester Medical Center Solid Organ Transplant Program. In medical school, she has been the leader for both the Psychiatry Interest Group and the Bioethics Interest Group.
