Shahida Mizan, MD

Shahida Mizan is a current resident psychiatrist at VCU Health. She is originally from the Northern Virginia area, received her Bachelors of Science in Neuroscience from William & Mary, and completed her medical training at VCU School of Medicine. Once she is finished with her residency she hopes to complete a fellowship in Forensic Psychiatry. Her long term goal is to become an inpatient psychiatrist at a teaching hospital as she is passionate about both acute level psychiatric care and academic medicine.
