Dr. Soumya Sivaraman is a consultation-liaison psychiatrist in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurobiology at University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). She trained in psychiatry at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), India. After moving to US, she did her psychiatry residency at UAB, where she has continued as faculty. She is also board certified in Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry. Her areas of interests include neuropsychiatry, healthcare quality, patient safety and ECT.
