A self-proclaimed passionate data nerd, Ashley enjoys using insights gained from data to improve the lives of others. At PCCI Ashley’s role as data analyst allows her to explore and translate complex data sets for projects that directly impact patient outcomes.
Prior to her current role as data analyst Ashley spent over 15 years in k-12 education in various roles. In 2018 she was awarded the Texas Instrument’s Excellence in STEM Education Fellowship for her accomplishments in teaching middle school physics. Her work in low-income schools ignited her desire to use data to make a larger-scale positive change in the world.
Ashley earned her Bachelor of Science in bilingual education from Texas Woman’s University and her Master of Education in educational leadership from Southern Methodist University.
In her free time Ashley is an active member of her local chapter of Women Who Code as a mentorship lead. She also enjoys spending time with her two dogs and one cat, gardening, and 3D printing.
