I graduated with an M.S. in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from UNC-Chapel Hill. While at UNC, I completed a practicum with Dr. Eileen Burker in the heart and lung transplant unit at UNC Hospital. I worked as a graduate research assistant under Dr. Terra Rose and Dr. Rebekah Nash assessing the prevalence of mental health diagnoses in kidney and liver transplant patients at UNC Hospital. I am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor-In Training providing mental health counseling to youth and families through office, school-based, and equine-assisted therapy.
