Richard Yanofsky was trained as a resident at the University of Toronto and completed his fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry at the University Health Network. He works in the Toronto Western Hospital Bariatric Surgery Clinic and the Young Adult Renal Transplant Clinic at Toronto General Hospital. He has had a scholarly interest in treating psychiatric conditions in the context of bariatric surgery care.
