Dr. Margaret R. Puelle received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Michigan and did her residency in Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Puelle completed her Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry fellowship at the University of Rochester and subsequently joined their faculty as a Senior Instructor where she works as an attending psychiatrist on the inpatient consult service, the outpatient psychodermatology clinic, and supervises residents in psychotherapy training. She is also the Associate Clerkship Director for the Department of Psychiatry and advises medical students applying for psychiatry residency. Her research experience includes papers that enhance the understanding for detecting and treating delirium and her current research projects focus on the treatment of patients with psychodermatologic conditions.
