She attended medical school in New York City where she met her husband, a bonafide Texan. When Tammy is not at the hospital, you will most likely find her enjoying her hometown, NYC, with friends, spending time with her family and Dudley Labrador, baking French macarons, or enjoying the latest Indie film. Tammy aspires to become a Child and Adolescent psychiatrist and envisions herself practicing on both CL and outpatient services. She has helped organize several outreach efforts during the pandemic to educate adult stakeholders and adolescents on rising mental health concerns, and is currently developing a pilot education program to increase the comprehensiveness of ED crisis evaluations of kids. Tammy is also keenly interested in conversion disorders and their presentation in pediatric patients with complex histories of trauma.
