Jennifer McMahon MD is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine, where she is on the psychiatric consultation liaison service at Yale New Haven Hospital in addition to providing outpatient psychiatric consultations for Yale Maternal Fetal Medicine. She is also part of ACCESS Mental Health for Moms CT, a program that offers psychiatric expertise and consultation to medical providers treating perinatal women presenting with mental health concerns. Dr. McMahon graduated from Boston University with a B.S. in Health Science and attended medical school at University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She completed psychiatry residency at Harvard Longwood Psychiatry Residency Training Program where she served as the chief resident on the psychiatric consultation liaison service at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. In addition, she completed a fellowship in consultation-liaison psychiatry at Boston University Medical Center. Her interests include perinatal psychiatry and resident and fellow education.
