Dr. Gaffney is one of the current Chief Residents of Academics at John Peter Smith Hospital Psychiatry Department in Fort Worth, Texas. He attended medical school at Kansas City University obtaining both a DO and MA in Bioethics. Dr. Gaffney served in the armed forces and has a special interest in serving veterans, treatment-resistant mood disorders, and brief psychotherapy. In his free time, he enjoys being with his wife and 4 kids and getting outdoors as much as possible.
