Alyssandra Abrenica is a medical student from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. Her initial medical research investigated the amplification of inflammatory biomarkers in patients with atrial fibrillation. She developed a passion for psychiatry in her Consultation-Liaison rotation and applied for psychiatry residency for Match 2023.
