Do Young Gwak completed his undergraduate studies at Virginia Tech, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry. After completing his undergraduate studies, he pursed a career in medicine earning medical degree at University of Vermont
He completed psychiatry residency at Howard University Hospital, where he was appointed as a Chief Resident. During his residency, he gained expertise in working with underserved population. Do Young Gwak completed CL fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern (UTSW), and currently working as a CL attending at Dallas VA Medical center and Assistant Professor at UTSW. He is a member of ACLP. Outside of medicine, Do Young Gwak enjoys cooking and exploring new recipes.
