Dr. Kluger is currently a Professor of Neurology and Medicine and the founding director of the Palliative Care Research Center and Neuropalliative Care Division at the University of Rochester. Dr. Kluger created one of the first team-based Neuropalliative care clinics in the world at the University of Colorado. He has published numerous papers important to the growth of this field. His research focuses on Neuropalliative care, fatigue, and neurodegenerative illness (e.g. Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease) with some brief excursions into other areas including nutrition, acupuncture, and cannabis. Dr. Kluger’s research has been funded by the National Institutes of Health, the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute, the Department of Defense, the Parkinson Foundation and the Michael J Fox Foundation.
