Dr Aron Pinkhasov is Chairman of Behavioral Health Department at NYU Langone Hospital – Long Island and is a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and Medicine at NYU Long Island School of Medicine.
He has completed Combined Internal Medicine and Psychiatry Residency program at SUNY-Downstate in Brooklyn, New York in 2000, after which he served as a Chief Resident in Internal Medicine at Kings County Hospital, Brooklyn, New York.
Dr Pinkhasov is Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, Fellow of the Academy of Consultation and Liaison Psychiatry and a member of Psychosomatic Committee at the Group for Advancement of Psychiatry.
The author of multiple publications and presentations, Dr. Pinkhasov has received several professional honors, including the President’s Award from the Office of the President, Borough of Brooklyn, Distinguished Recognition Award for Dedication and Commitment to Psychiatric Residency Education in Geriatric Psychiatry from SUNY Downstate Medical Center and Innovative Model for Integrated Care Award from the Association of Medicine and Psychiatry.
