Scott R. Beach is an attending psychiatrist on the Massachusetts General Hospital Psychiatry Consultation and Acute Psychiatric Services, and an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. He is a former Program Director of the MGH/McLean Adult Psychiatry Residency. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Medicine, the University of Virginia Adult Psychiatry Residency and the MGH Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry Fellowship. His clinical and scholarly areas of interest include QT prolongation and psychiatric medications, catatonia and related syndromes, neuropsychiatric effects of COVID-19, and deception syndromes.
