Dr. Angelova is a board certified consultation-liaison psychiatrist with specific interests in trauma informed care, bioethics and healthcare leadership. She completed her fellowship training at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York City and was subsequently employed at Mount Sinai Hospital, where she specialized in collaborative care and served as co-chair of the Faculty Wellness Committee for the department of psychiatry. Dr. Angelova is currently the director of the consultation-liaison psychiatry division at NYC Health + Hospitals | Harlem, where she is involved in direct patient care, resident education, research, and quality improvement.
