Jonathan "John" Smith, MD is the Medical Director for Vanderbilt University Adult Hospital Psychiatric Services and Director of the VUMC CL Psychiatry Fellowship. He completed an adult psychiatry residency and Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry fellowship at VUMC before joining the faculty. His clinical work is primarily in inpatient CL psychiatry and emergency psychiatry, with a special interest in neuropsychiatric syndromes, education, and clinical service performance tracking.
