Dr. Herrington is an Associate Professor with the UVA Health Department of Psychiatry and Neurobehavioral Sciences. She is an attending physician on an acute care inpatient psychiatric unit that serves adults with a variety of mood and psychotic disorders. She is also a supervisor of a resident-lead transitional care clinic that serves patients who have recently discharged from the inpatient unit and have not yet established care in the community.
