Dr. Thisayakorn received a medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. He completed the general psychiatry residency program at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics, Iowa city, IA. He graduated a fellowship training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry at Cleveland Clinics, Cleveland, OH in 2015. Currently, he is an assistant professor of psychiatry at the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital. At this institution, he established the first Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry fellowship training program in Thailand in 2021 and has served as the fellowship program director since then. His academic work and research area of interests are in the field of general hospital psychiatry, delirium, HIV psychiatry, transplant psychiatry, and ketamine infusion therapy for depression.
