Dr. Katya Potkin is currently a PGY-3 resident in psychaitry at Weill Cornell. Dr. Potkin attended Brown University, where she graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Human Biology, with an emphasis on human behavior. Following her undergraduate studies, she lived in New York City, working full-time as an EMT in Manhattan. She went on to receive her M.D. degree at SUNY Stony Brook, where she was involved in Huntington's Disease research, specifically, studying cellular models to predict age of onset of disease. She is interested in CL psychiatry, specifically, consulting on women admitted to the Ob/Gyn service who have comorbid psychiatric illness.
