Dr. Kumar graduated from the University of California, Berkeley for her Bachelor's Degree in Molecular & Cell Biology in 2017 and then went on to complete medical school at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in 2021. While in medical school, she was active in APA and PsychSIGN and completed student research on antipsychotic use in sub-Saharan Africa. She was a tutor for students and volunteered for the Healthcare for the Homeless in Boston. Sanjana was an active member of DocOpera which raised funds for the student run clinic at Case Western. She is currently a PGY-3 psychiatry resident at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA.
