Dr. Humaira Shoaib completed her Psychiatry residency at Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School. During her time there, she earned the Best Resident as Teacher Award. Upon completion, she did her Psychosomatic Medicine Fellowship at Long island Jewish Medical Center, Northwell Health-where she received an award for Outstanding Performance in Psychosomatic Medicine Fellowship. Currently she is working as a Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Northwell Health. She received an Outstanding Teacher Award in 2018. She also served as the Interim Chief of the Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Northwell Health from July 2019 to July 2020 . She is also a Diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. When she is not working she enjoys spending her free time on interior design, reading books, and spending time with her family.
