Mary Lynn Dell, MD, MTS, ThM, DMin, MHA, is Director, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and Professor of Psychiatry and Neurobehavioral Sciences at the University of Virginia In Charlottesville. Her clinical and academic focus is consultation liaison psychiatry across the lifespan, An ordained Episcopal priest, she currently chairs the APA Caucus on Religion Spirituality, and Psychiatry, co-chairs the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) Ethics Committee; and was the founding chair of the AACAP Committee on Religion and Spirituality. Dr. Dell has taught and published extensively on the interface of medicine, psychiatry, religion, and spirituality, especially as this intersection pertains to children, adolescents, and families.
