Dr. Kimberly Roaten is a licensed psychologist, a board certified health psychologist, and a Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. She is also the Associate Chief Quality and Safety Officer for Behavioral Health at Parkland Health. Dr. Roaten leads the universal suicide prevention program at Parkland and has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications describing the prevalence of suicide risk among individuals seeking healthcare and strategies for implementing and improving systems-level interventions.
