Nadia Zaim is a board-certified pediatrician, adult, and child and adolescent psychiatrist who works at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. She completed her general pediatrics residency at the Sinai Hospital of Baltimore then trained in adult and child psychiatry at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, joining the faculty after completion of her post-graduate medical training. She serves as the medical director of the pediatric consultation liaison psychiatry service and has worked to grow a small integrated care program in pediatric primary care. Dr. Zaim's clinical work focuses on taking care of medically complex children with psychiatric comorbidities through close collaboration with primary teams and de-stigmatization of mental illness. In addition to her clinical work, she is the associate training program director of the child psychiatry fellowship program and directs the pediatric resident mental health rotation. She is passionate about education of trainees across medical and psychiatric specialties and sees high-quality education as the way to train our workforce to take the best and most comprehensive care of our children.
