Dr Toby Winton-Brown is a consultation-liaison and neuropsychiatrist at the Alfred Hospital, and Research Fellow at Monash Neuroscience, where he currently works in the Epilepsy, Movement Disorders and Neuroimmunology teams. He recently was consultant psychiatrist to the Statewide Lung Transplant service and National paediatric lung transplant service, where he assessed and treated patients' mental health concerns prior to during and following lung transplant. He trained in medicine and philosophy in Sydney, Psychiatry and Neuroimaging at the Maudsley and Kings College in London, and Neuropsychiatry in Melbourne. His interests in disorders at the intersection of brain and mind, neuropsychiatry and psychotherapy came together in the formation of the award winning Alfred Functional Seizures clinic in 2019, and most recently the Epworth Functional Neurological Disorders clinic where he sees complex patients with physical and mental health problems.
