Dr. Cerimele’s interests include primary care psychiatry and health services research, with an emphasis on individuals diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Dr. Cerimele’s clinical research includes primary care psychiatry in general, the epidemiology and treatment of individuals with bipolar disorder in primary care, and measurement-based care for individuals with bipolar disorder. Current clinical responsibilities include delivering consultations and brief-duration clinical care. Educational responsibilities include working in the Integrated Care Training Program, and mentoring resident physicians in clinical research. Dr. Cerimele also oversees the Department’s Grand Rounds Series. Additionally, Dr. Cerimele is Deputy Editor at the Journal of the Academy of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, and a Fellow of the Academy of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry.
