Dr. Nadine Schwartz is the co-Associate Chief of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH, where she has been working since 2016. Before that she was the Section Chief of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children and faculty at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. She completed combined Pediatrics, Psychiatry, and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry training at Mt. Sinai College of Medicine in 2003.
At Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Dr. Schwartz directs Consultation & Medical Psychiatry which includes the in-hospital CLP service, an outpatient CLP clinic, multiple primary care integration efforts, the eating disorders and transgender programs, and a longitudinal outpatient CLP trainee elective.
She is a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and the Academy of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry. She is board certified in Pediatrics, General Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
Dr. Schwartz resides in Upper Arlington, Ohio with her husband, two teenagers, and entitled rescue hound. Her eldest son is a freshman at The Ohio State University. When not working, she is a mom and reads.
