Dr. Karah Harvey-Nuckles completed a combined MD, MPH physician leadership program at The Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University. Following her graduation from medical school, she completed General Psychiatry Residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH.
During her ten years as an attending psychiatrist at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, she has worked on the Consultation Liaison Psychiatry service. While working on the CL service, she developed a special interest in the treatment of neuroimmunologic disorders. As a result of her passion, she helped establish a multidisciplinary clinic focused on treating these patients at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
She is a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and the Academy of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry. She is board certified in General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Dr. Harvey-Nuckles resides in Columbus, Ohio with her husband and two children. When not working, she is usually seen at a local race track cheering on her husband or her children as they pursue their love of motorsports.
