Naomi Schmelzer, MD, MPH

Naomi Schmelzer, MD MPH is the Director of Medical Psychiatry at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital and an Instructor in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. She serves as the BWFH site director for residency education in the HMS/BWH psychiatry residency program and is also on the hospital’s ethics committee and ethics consultation service. Dr. Schmelzer completed an undergraduate degree at MIT, her medical school training and MPH at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine (now Icahn), psychiatry residency training at the Mount Sinai Hospital, and CL Psychiatry fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
