Thom Dunn is a clinical psychologist at Denver Health, a safety net hospital with a Level I trauma designation. His primary clinical role is on the psychiatry C-L service. Additionally, he oversees psychology residents and fellows who work on proactive consult services embedded with Pediatrics and Trauma and Acute Care Surgery. He co-chairs the hospital's bioethics committee and is an intermittent field instructor for the hospital's paramedic division. He is a Professor of Psychological Sciences at the University of Northern Colorado with research interests in the management of behavioral emergencies by first responders.
