Dr. Bridget King is currently an instructor of psychiatry within Columbia University Irving Medical Center’s Department of Psychiatry. She is involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. She is the dedicated consultation-liaison psychiatrist to the obstetric units at Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital, and practices as a reproductive psychiatrist within Columbia’s Women’s and Reproductive Mental Health (WARM) Program. She specializes in treating mental illness that occurs during the menstrual cycle, pregnancy, postpartum, and menopause.
Dr. King completed psychiatry residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel where she served as chief resident in her final year. She went on to complete a fellowship in consultation-liaison psychiatry at Mount Sinai Hospital and received specialized training in reproductive psychiatry at The Motherhood Center in NYC.
