Sarah is a third year psychiatry resident and Chief Resident at Westchester medical center. She completed her MD at the American University of Beirut in 2018 and then completed a year long ethics and professionalism post-doc fellowship at the institution. After that, she obtained her degree in Narrative Medicine from Columbia University and taught for the program. At the present moment, Sarah is active in several societies such as the APA, SSPC and the WNPT in addition to functioning as an editor for John Hopkin's Creative Medical Humanities journal, Tendon. Her interests lie in education, grief and storytelling and, building cultures of kindness and compassion. Professionally, she aspires to become a CL psychiatrist.
