Lindsey is a psychiatric and palliative care nurse practitioner who has worked in a number of settings including community based mental health clinics, consultation liaison psychiatry services, inpatient and outpatient palliative care services, special medical foster care and home based medical care. She trained and worked at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. She is the author of the book chapter Serious Mental Illness in Palliative Care to be published later this year in the Oxford Textbook of Palliative Nursing. She has also obtained a Master's degree in Narrative Medicine from Columbia and continues to be involved in teaching and mentoring in that program. She is a HRSA Nurse Corps Scholarship Recipient, avid reader, aspiring writer, and devoted yoga practitioner. She hopes to bring more APPS into the world of CL psychiatry and palliative care and is thrilled to be here!
