Dr. Alba Lara is an adult and consultation liaison psychiatrist. She completed general psychiatry residency at The University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School and C-L fellowship at Columbia University. She has been a recipient of the APA SAMHSA fellowship and the APSaA Fellowship. Dr. Lara has clinical interests in complementary alternative treatments, integrated care models including the collaborative care model, immigrant mental health, transplant psychiatry, neuropsychiatry and neuromodulation (ECT and TMS), medical education, and psychodynamic psychotherapy applications in the medical setting.
