Jessica Whitfield, MD, MPH, serves as an Assistant Professor in the Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at the University of Washington School of Medicine and Core Faculty for the Advancing Integrated Mental Health Solutions (AIMS) Center. She has built an area of expertise in teaching integrated care to a range of learners (from residents to fellows to those practicing in the community), including training in program implementation and quality improvement. She works clinically as a psychiatric consultant for the UW's Behavioral Health Integration Program (BHIP) and the Outpatient Psychiatric Clinic at the UW Medical Center. She also provides program assistance for the Integrated Care Training Program Fellowship, is a clinical supervisor for outpatient psychiatry resident rotations, a mentor in the Community Based Fellowship, and a rotation supervisor for three psychiatry resident rotations related to integrated care. As a psychiatric consultant coach, she provides implementation and coaching support to various projects affiliated with the AIMS center, and outside of UW serves as a program coordinator for the Virtual Care Implementation ECHO as part of Tribal Health Connections.
